Man Utd boss Mourinho sent to stands with high five from Pellegrino

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho saw red in their win at Southampton on Saturday.

Mourinho was dismissed by referee Craig Pawson in the closing stages of the match at St Mary's, where United won 1-0 thanks to Romelu Lukaku's first half strike.

The United boss was sent to the stands after encroaching onto the pitch in the dying seconds of the game, as he manically tried to get his players back into position to see off the late threat of the hosts, reports the Mirror.

After he was dismissed, Mourinho high-fived Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino before leaving the technical area.

When asked why he had been sent off after the match, Mourinho said: "I don't know, you have to ask the referee."
