Man Utd boss Mourinho pulls out of Soccer Aid

Jose Mourinho will reportedly withdraw from his coaching duties for this year's Soccer Aid charity match.

It is believed that the Portuguese tactician has stood down fro his role as England coach for Sunday's match against the World XI at Old Trafford.

Mourinho was recently announced as Manchester United's new manager and has decided not to go ahead with his obligations because he does not want the limelight to be placed on him, and is also wary of the amount of work that needs to be done after taking the reins from Louis van Gaal.

Sunderland's Sam Allardyce, who was set to be Mourinho's assistant, will now step into the head coaching role for an England team that consists of the likes of Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher, Phil Neville, Sol Campbell and David Seaman.

Popstar Robbie Williams, who is UNICEF's UK ambassador, will assist Allardyce.
