Manchester United veteran Bastian Schweinsteiger has been offered to Fenerbahce.

HTspor says United boss Jose Mourinho has told the Istanbul-based outfit that they can have the veteran star.

The 32-year-old ideally wants an MLS move or a return to Germany.

Schweinsteiger has made just two appearances for Manchester United this season, both as a late substitute in convincing cup victories.

Mourinho hinted recently that the midfielder would earn more game-time this month, saying: "He is an option, he is waiting for his chance to play and I think January is a good moment with so many games."
