Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has taken aim at Gary Neville over his criticism of their tactics and Paul Pogba.

Neville, in his role as a pundit for Sky Sports, was critical of his former club in the wake of their last-gasp 3-2 win at Crystal Palace.

“Some of the guys with an opinion couldn't resolve their own problems when they were managers, so they are giving opinions like they have solutions for everything," said Mourinho, referring to Neville's ill-fated spell as Valencia coach.

“It's not like that, but they're in a position where they can give opinions about everything. Sometimes I read and listen, sometimes I don't.

“This week I was more focused on enjoying Champions League and Europa League and preparing my match than be focused on opinions."
