Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has scrapped plans to travel to China as he works to close a deal for Juventus ace Paul Pogba.
The Mirror says Woodward was due to fly to the Far East with the squad earlier today.
However, he has stayed in England with the intention of wrapping up a world-record deal.
Jose Mourinho is said to want the deal done and dusted before the end of the week.
The Portuguese appears to be well on the way with his planning after his wife posted a picture on social media which appeared to show Pogba's name on a tactics board.
The proposed deal is likely to smash Gareth Bale's world-record move from Tottenham to Real Madrid for £86m in 2013.
