Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is launching a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.

Don Balon says Mourinho is willing to pay £70m (€80m) for the midfielder this summer.

Kroos, who has won the Champions League three times during his time at Real, is open to moving to the Premier League.

Real are keen to keep the Germany midfielder this summer, despite the Spanish giants preparing for a summer shake-up at the Bernabeu.

Should United land Kroos this summer, the German would be Mourinho's third signing.

The Real superstar would follow Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and Porto's versatile right-back Diogo Dalot to Old Trafford.
