Man Utd boss Mourinho: I don't care about Chelsea or Morata! (But he'll be very good for them)

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho isn't bothered about Chelsea's swoop for Alvaro Morata.

The Real Madrid striker is in London today for a Chelsea medical.

Morata was all set to join United before they pulled out of the deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

"It frankly doesn't interest me what Chelsea does," snapped Mourinho. "We had a striker. Also when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was still fully fit, we needed someone to have more options. He and Marcus were not enough, especially after Zlatan got injured.

"Now we have a top European player.

"It was obvious that Chelsea would pick up a striker, especially in view of the situation between Antonio Conte and Diego Costa. Álvaro is a very good player for them."
