Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has hinted at a deadlock over their summer market plans.

The Portuguese manager was speaking to MUTV ahead of the Red Devils' 1-1 pre-season draw with Club America yesterday.

Having been asked about the team-sheet, he said: “The line-up is the best possible one to prepare them for the start of the season.

“Especially the start of the season where we don't have many more players than what we have now.

“[Nemanja] Matic and Fred are coming next week so we have a few more solutions there.

“Hopefully Alexis [Sanchez] is coming and not much more are arriving before the start of the season. So we have to try and develop this team."
