Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has held talks with Ashley Young over his future.
The Manchester Evening News says Young is generating plenty of interest from Premier League clubs but would only leave on loan or permanently if Mourinho gave him permission.
It is believed Mourinho has assured Young, omitted from both squads against West Ham and Everton last week, he wants him to keep him at the club.
Young would be one of two specialist left wingers, along with Anthony Martial.
Mourinho said last week it 'hurt' to exclude Young for the 4-1 victory over West Ham.
