Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho won't be bothered by Robert Beasley's tell-all book released last week, it is claimed.

Spanish expert Guillem Balague, writing for AS, says Mourinho does have close relationships with several high profile journalists.

Balague wrote: "Mourinho has few close friends in the media world, but he remains in contact with good communicators.

"The Setubal-born coach tends to send WhatsApp messages or emails in the morning and called Beasley during the farewell press conference of Steve McClaren as England coach to see if the English Federation was interested in his services.

"This knowledge will not last forever and normally has a limited lifespan when Mourinho decides that the relationship no longer serves his interests."
