Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has asked Hasan Cetinkaya about Emil Forsberg.

Mourinho was in Sweden on Friday to see the RB Leipzig midfielder in action for the World Cup playoff victory over Italy.

Forsberg was voted man of the match and BILD says Mourinho has already asked his agent, Cetinkaya, for more information about his situation. Cetinkaya is building a strong relationship with United, having placed Victor Lindelof at Old Trafford last summer.

United are expected to soon approach RBL about a price for Forsberg, who is being tipped to strengthen the left-side of their midfield, with Ashley Young currently the only realistic option.

Meanwhile, it's also emerged United are keeping tabs on Benjamin Pavard's contract talks with VfB Stuttgart.

Pavard has just won his first cap with France and has been offered new terms to 2020 by VfB.
