Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho admits he dropped Henrikh Mkhitaryan for their draw at Everton.

The Armenian was moved to the bench for the midweek fixture, having started the goalless draw against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

When asked about this decision, United boss Jose Mourinho said it was because he was unhappy at Mkhitaryan's display against the Baggies.

Mourinho said: "I wasn't happy with Mkhitaryan's performance on Saturday. That's why he's on the bench."
