Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has likened tonight's opponents Southampton to PEC Zwolle.
PEC finished mid-table last season and their stadium, the IJsseldelta Stadion, has a capacity of less than 13,000.
"Every season there is a team that is surprisingly at the top. PEC Zwolle, you have heard of PEC Zwolle? Yes? Fantastic," Van Gaal is quoted by Voetbal International.
"That's a club in the Netherlands which has been at the top about six to eight rounds. This always happens.
"But I have already said in previous press conferences that it is all about the rankings in May. That counts. The score is now not so important."
Saints fans shouldn't feel too insulted, however, PEC won the KNVB Cup last season to qualify for the Europa League this term. They also beat Ajax in August to win the Dutch Super Cup.
