Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted Ryan Giggs has penned a new 12- month deal.

Fergie claimed Giggs' decision to take up yoga has helped extend his career.

He said: "We used to think he had spasms in his hamstrings, which were related to his back.

"When he started doing the yoga, all that disappeared."
