Man Utd boss Ferguson won't rush Vidic rehab

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson won't rush Nemanja Vidic's knee injury recovery.

The Telegraph says Ferguson has confirmed that captain Vidic will miss the club's pre-season trips to South Africa and the Far East in order to focus on his rehabilitation from a cruciate ligament injury.

Vidic is expected to be fit in time for the start of the new season, however.
