Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sees new signing Nick Powell as an instant first teamer.

The People says Powell, 18, joined from Crewe in a £4million deal and immediately sparked calls from clubs who wanted to take him on a season-long basis.

However Ferguson has told Powell - and all of the interested parties - that he sees him playing at Old Trafford immediately just like Phil Jones did a year ago.
