Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates Danny Welbeck as the best defensive attacking player at the club.

Ferguson says Welbeck has picked up the mantle from Ji-sung Park, now of QPR.

"Welbeck is better (than Wayne Rooney) at the job of robbing people of the ball. He is the best we've got. Ji-sung Park did exactly the same. He never gave Andrea Pirlo a kick when we played AC Milan. You have to analyse a team for its strength," said Ferguson.
