Man Utd boss Ferguson: We wanted to sell Morrison. We want to KEEP Pogba

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has again insisted they want to keep hold of Paul Pogba.

Manchester City development chief Patrick Vieira declared this week he expected Pogba to follow Ravel Morrison, now of West Ham United, out of Old Trafford.

"The point he made about Ravel Morrison and losing our young players - we wanted to sell him (Morrison) let's be clear about that, for obvious reasons," said Ferguson.

"But we want Pogba to stay because we think he's going to be a fantastic Manchester United player and hopefully that's the case."
