Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits this season hasn't been perfect.
He is delighted to be on the brink of another league title - but upset they did not beat Chelsea in the FA Cup.
The United boss said: "How do we analyse the season? For me, it's something of the proverbial curate's egg - part bad but with some great redeeming qualities.
"The biggest disappointment was not getting past Chelsea - especially with a semi-final against Manchester City beckoning.
"But our performance in the Premier League has been phenomenal."
