Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says their US tour has been great for their new players.
David De Gea, Ashley Young and Phil Jones have all been welcomed by their new teammates during the two week tour.
"We've brought some young players with us and the essence of these tours is for young players, in particular," Ferguson told manutd.com.
"They can get to know how the older players handle them and they can get to know each other. It's been great for David de Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young... these tours are fantastic for that team spirit and understanding the personalities of each other. Teams are made up of personalities and the stronger personalities give you the best teams."
