Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits it's difficult buying English talent.
After buying two English players in the past two summers, Michael Carrick and Hargreaves for a combined total of £35m, Ferguson says: "We have to sign players of a certain quality, and it is difficult for me to get the best English players from other clubs. They just won't sell them, the prices are astronomical and there aren't many around. Therefore you have to look elsewhere, simple as that."
