Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is coy over Wayne Rooney's chances of making their clash with Liverpool.
Ferguson feared Rooney would not be fit for the showdown against United's bitter rivals but the England ace returned to training at Carrington yesterday.
Rooney picked up the knee injury during training on Christmas Day and has missed the last four matches.
Nani and Anderson are also expected to return.
Fergie said: "All in all, this is quite a positive situation.
"It's good to have them back."
