Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has thanked a fan for recommending a player - 72 years ago!
The Sun says a fan got a letter from Ferguson on his 105th birthday - after recommending a player 72 years ago.
Keen-eyed Harold Conway spotted Jack Rowley playing for Bournemouth in 1937 and wrote to Man Utd boss Sir Matt Busby advising him to sign the striker. Rowley scored 182 goals in 380 games for them.
Harold's daughter Patricia Willshen, 75, of Poole, Dorset, said of the letter: "It was lovely."
