Man Utd boss Ferguson tells Man City: Can you hold your nerve?!!

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has warned Manchester City the title run in is all about bottle. City dropped two points at Stoke City yesterday.

The United boss, preparing for tomorrow night's home match against Fulham, said: "Individuals and teams can win games, but I think what is important now is how the temperament is - how they hold their nerve.

"Last year, we were 1-0 down to Blackburn and needed a point to win the League and everyone in the team was unbelievable.

"The incessant pressure on Blackburn told and we got a penalty kick. We never bottled it or showed signs of anxiety or nerves. We just kept playing our game, which was good to see at that time of the season, and will be important again.

"Experience is important, no matter who you are. If you've been there before, it helps. It's not absolutely conclusive that it will apply this season because you've got to admire City.

"They've done exceptionally well and been top of the league for a long time. They've got us to go to the Etihad and they've not lost a game there."
