Man Utd boss Ferguson tells Burnley to forget about Pogba

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will not release French kid Paul Pogba on-loan.

Pogba is a target for Burnley boss Eddie Howe.

Ahead of United's Carling Cup clash with Leeds United - a match in which Pogba could make his senior debut - Ferguson said: "It's more difficult to loan a boy of 18 who's come from France.

"We prefer to keep him with us until we find he's mature enough to possibly go on loan. Maybe next year that could be an option."
