Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists his summer signings are BETTER than Chelsea's stars. While he admitted scouting Eden Hazard, the United supremo still feels his close season business gives him more options over the course of a season.

He said: "Chelsea have changed and without Drogba they have another way of playing and it's been successful because they are top and undefeated.

"When I first saw them playing Oscar, Mata and Hazard in the same team I thought that was a risk.

"But they give real problems for defenders. If you contain the three in the middle of the park then you've got a chance but that's not certain.

"We've brought Van Persie and Kagawa and it means that my adaptability is better. The unpredictability is better so I think that may help us."
