Man Utd boss Ferguson stunned as Dowd gets Carling Cup final

Manchester United's Carling Cup final hopes have been rocked by the game's refereeing appointment.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will be seeing red after ref Phil Dowd was appointed for their Carling Cup final against Aston Villa.
Dowd has dished out five reds and 18 yellows against his Manchester United side in just 12 League games.
And in March 2009, Dowd dismissed both Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney in the 2-0 defeat at Fulham. Fergie said then: "It's Phil Dowd so what do you expect?"
By contrast to the five reds Dowd has shown United, he has given Villa only one in 13 league games and none in the one game he has officiated them in the FA and Carling Cups.

When your team cannot win it is because Manchester United has bribed the referee! What a novel idea! And, if Phil Dowd had been the referee in every game Manchester United played, Manchester United would have been relegated? Dream on ... you who live in a fantasy world. Phil Dowd will be fair (or would he?) if he is an honest referee.

very very bad decision - & that´s a fact.
anyway - could have been even worse (not scouse now, not scouse FOR NOW ONLY!), could have been DEAN = the one to be HIT REALLY BAD
nevertheless, United rule & always will, not to mention United WILL
WIN C.C. (among other trophies this season)!
