Man Utd boss Ferguson still has Everton's Rodwell on shopping list

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hasn't forgotten about Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell.

The Manchester Evening News says Ferguson now has a policy of seeking the brightest British talents to secure the future of United even after he retires.

He has spent a combined £44m on Englishmen in Smalling, Jones and Ashley Young in the last two years, with Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley also becoming increasingly important figures at the club.

He also remains interested in Everton’s England midfielder, Rodwell, who is a potential summer target.

and this is relevant to rodwell how?

Cant see this being anymore than a daft rumour as in all honesty i am yet to read anything on this site that has turned out to be true!! selling Suarez would be unbelieveably Stupid. Agree or disagree know other club would stand by a player like Liverpool did with Luis and he's no a fool he realises that. Maybe in two or three years he may move on or if the owners force him out but if Liverpool and the owners want Champs league football then selling Suarez wouldnt be the smartest of transfer sense now would it?
