Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has slammed Manchester City for the sacking of Roberto Mancini.
Fergie suffered more than anyone at the hands of the Italian manager, who snatched the title from his grasp on the final day of last term.
But 12 months on, while Ferguson has gone out in style, Mancini has unceremoniously been given the boot.
Fergie said: "It is quite amazing. He won the cup, has been in the final, second in the league and won the league and it's not enough? I was surprised but actually no, you can't say you're surprised not with some owners today. You can't be surprised but I still don't think it was right."
