Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has shut down talk of re-signing David Beckham on-loan from LA Galaxy.
Beckham went out on loan to AC Milan for the last two winters and trained with Arsenal each time.
But the England midfielder has said he would find it hard to play for any Premier League club other than United.
Asked yesterday about re-signing Beckham, Ferguson said: "I don't think so with David at his age. I've never signed a player as old as that, have I?"
United actually signed Laurent Blanc at 35, while striker Henrik Larsson was 35 and goalkeeper Andy Goram 36 when they joined on loan.
