Man Utd boss Ferguson set to drop Ferdinand for Braga clash

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may drop Rio Ferdinand for their Champions League clash with Braga.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may drop Rio Ferdinand for their Champions League clash with Braga.

Ferguson was fuming with Ferdinand after he refused to wear a Kick it Out T-shirt ahead of Saturday’s home win over Stoke, says The Sun.

Fergie had told all his players they had to wear the warm-up top in support of the anti-racism campaign.

As a result of his actions, Ferdinand is heading for a two-week fine of £220,000.

But now he could lose his place in the team as well, starting tomorrow against Braga, with Chris Smalling back from injury and ready to play.
