Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has asked his Brazilian scouts for more information on Victor Andrade. The 17 year-old attacker is tied to Santos and regarded as a bigger talent at the same age as Neymar.
Manchester City have already made an attempt to sign Andrade, but were quickly referred to his £40 million buyout clause. The player and his family visited Barcelona on invitation of the Spanish giants last summer.
Now Ferguson is also tracking the teen and wants to know if Santos would be prepared to sell for a realistic price.
United came close to landing Lucas Moura in the summer before PSG gazumped them with a £40 million offer to Sao Paulo. They already have a deal in place for Andrade's Brazil U17 teammate Bruno Gomes, who will move to Old Trafford next summer from Desportivo Brasil.
