Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson felt Paul Scholes was always a chance to return from retirement.

Scholes clearly made the right call in coming out of retirement as he was excellent again in the win at Norwich.

"I think Paul knew right away when he went to coach with the Reserves," said Ferguson. "He came to me and said: 'I think I made a mistake' and the evidence you're seeing now tells you he was right. His form has been fantastic."
