Man Utd boss Ferguson: Scholes return has lifted everyone

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits the imminent return of Paul Scholes has lifted everyone at the club.

Scholes is set to return from a knee operation and could be involved for the first time since October in today's FA Cup tie against Tottenham.

Ferguson said: "We have so many choices in that area, which is good.

"In my experience when the season starts to boil, everyone will play their part.

"Paul will bring experience at an important part of the season.

"We have 15 league games left and hopefully a few more European ties as well.

"We are very buoyed by Paul coming back - he is like a new signing for us."
