Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly admitted interest in Udinese attacking midfielder Alexis Sanchez.

Several foreign press sources say Ferguson compared the Chilean youngster with United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

"He's a young player with a very promising future," said Ferguson. "Sanchez has so much talent, that if he continues his progression, he could reach the level of Cristiano Ronaldo."
