Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra will be fit for the Chelsea clash.
Rooney missed training on Tuesday after reporting for duty with a tight hamstring and was not named on the bench for last night's 4-1 Champions League semi-final win over Schalke.
Evra was introduced as a second-half substitute but took a knock that at one point looked set to warrant Ferguson making another change.
However, the full-back quickly recovered and Ferguson revealed Rooney's absence was purely precautionary.
"Patrice got a kick," Ferguson told MUTV.
"I was ready to substitute him but he said he was OK.
"Wayne will be all right. I wasn't prepared to take a risk."
