Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo over his form with Real Madrid this season.

Ronaldo has scored an incredible 103 goals in 106 games for Madrid since making his world-record £80m move from Old ­Trafford.

And Fergie said: "Once again, the word for that record is phenomenal - but Ronaldo is just ­Ronaldo. But Mesut Ozil has ­improved a lot this season and Real are a team of great ­energy."
