Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates Aston Villa a title threat.
Chelsea top the table by three points from United, with Arsenal five further back on 32 but with a game in hand.
Villa moved level on points with the Gunners after their 1-0 victory at Old Trafford last Saturday. And Fergie said: "The history of the league suggests that eventually it does become a two-horse race.
"But, from the spectator point of view, they would hope that four or five are involved in the last month - it would be fantastic.
"The form of Aston Villa does cause you to look over your shoulder.
"Their performance last week - even given that we missed some chances - was a very solid display by them.
"It was a powerful performance. They have some experience in the right quarters and their back four was terrific.
"The one weakness is the size of the squad Martin has.
"Apart from that, they would definitely be challenging. They've got some good ingredients about them."
