Man Utd boss Ferguson rates Barcelona team to beat

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates Barcelona as the team to beat left in this season's Champions League.

In his match programme notes for their 2-2 draw with Porto, Ferguson wrote: "I've got to say though that I'm glad we are in the section of the draw that keeps us away from Barcelona. I think the Spanish team represents the biggest threat in the competition.

"They had a wobble a few weeks ago but they have picked up again and are in terrific form at just the right time of the season. Their first half performance against Lyon, when they won 5-2 at the Nou camp was brilliant. They were four up in no time, and they are quite rightly one of the favourites to win the competition.

"Hopefully we will get through to meet them in the final - and what an unbelievable match that would be!"
