Man Utd boss Ferguson questions Chelsea lawn mower tactics

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has accused Chelsea of dirty tricks after defeat at Stamford Bridge.

In the wake of Saturday's ugly brawl between United players and Chelsea groundstaff, Fergie said: "Why were the lawn mowers on the pitch after the game? Aren't they meant to cut the grass before the game? There's a question for you."

The clear inference is the grass was kept long to affect United's passing style as they went down 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
