Man Utd boss Ferguson pushing Flamengo to release Adryan

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is pushing for Flamengo to release Adryan for trials.

The attacking midfielder has been watched by Ferguson's scouts for the past 12 months and he had an offer for trials rejected by Fla in January.

United had scouts in Mexico for the U17 World Cup to keep tabs primarily on Adryan and saw the youngster score five goals in six games for Brazil.

Ferguson wants a close look at Adryan before making a firm offer to Fla, but his World Cup form could have already made up his mind about a bid for the youngster.
