He is planning a midfield overhaul at the end of the season with England internationals Ashley Young and Jordan Henderson both targets along with Everton's Jack Rodwell.

Goetze has 18 months left on his contract, but has opened the door to a move to Europe's biggest clubs.

"Who would not dream of playing with a club like Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United?," he said. "However, I have a contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2014."
