Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says retirement is not on the agenda.
Ferguson has reflected on the club's decision to unveil a statue of him outside Old Trafford and vowed not to quit just yet.
"My wife found it [the statue] hard to understand, because normally these things are done after you've passed away or when you've left the club.
"But I'm here and I don't intend to be leaving soon. It's an honour and I'm so proud of it.
"I've had 26 years at the club so far and when the time comes and I decide to hang my boots at - who knows? - maybe 27 years, I think it will be a testimony to the work I've done at the club.
"And that's a fantastic respect to be paid to me."
