Man Utd boss Ferguson names his worst ever signing
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has branded Ralph Milne his worst ever signing.
Fergie snapped up the left-winger from Bristol City after the Scot had a run of exciting form. But Milne failed to make the grade at Old Trafford in three seasons and actually left the club in 1991 for former Hong Kong club Sing Tao Sports Club.
On his worst signing, Ferguson declared: "Ralph Milne. I only paid £170,000 but I still get condemned for it."
At which point Ferguson remembers one he has tried to forget - Eric Djemba-Djemba.
"So good they named him twice," grinned Ferguson, who revealed his misfiring former midfielder, now with Odense BK, had just come in the top four for the Player of the Year in Denmark.

My opinion on Ferguson's worst signing? For me it's got to be the expensive ones, Seb Veron, Dimitar Berbatov, Diego Forlan and Nani! But i forgive Veron, cos he scoard and helped us beat Arsenal 2-0 at OT and Forlan ha ha ha, for scoring twice to beat Loserpool at Anfucked! RIP! Glory Glorly Man Utd
I think it is one of the worst player he signed rather than just a bad signing gone wrong. Bellion and Veron both are decent outside of Man Utd. This Ralph Milne must be really bad that he eventually went to a Hong Kong club.
