Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits he won't play Rio Ferdinand in tonight’s Champions League clash with Braga.

But he insists the decision has nothing to do with Saturday's t-shirt row.

"Tomorrow, so your false teeth don't fall out, I am not playing Rio," he said.

"We have a game at Chelsea on Sunday at Chelsea, which is a big one for us, so we will leave two of the older players, Rio and Patrice Evra, out tomorrow."
