Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has likened new £8 million signing Zoran Tosic to former Old Trafford star David Beckham.

"It is a great option for us to have someone with a natural left foot in our team," said the boss, who likened his new addition to fellow winger Nani, with similar set-piece attributes to those of David Beckham.

"There are similarities with Beckham in terms of going box-to-box and his good delivery.

"It's possible we'll see him playing in around six weeks."
