Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes Burnley's appointment of Brian Laws is a good one.

Laws kicks off his Clarets career today against United.

Ferguson said: "When you are in that bottom half of the league it is never easy.

"Brian Laws has got experience and that is probably what they need at the moment."
