Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is anxious about securing Carlos Tevez and Park Ji-sung to new contracts.
The United manager is not expected to be over-active during the January transfer window, with Serbian prospects Zoran Tosic and Adam Ljajic likely to be the only arrivals at Old Trafford.
Of more concern will be holding on to the players he has, with Tevez's future still up in the air and Park revealing he is yet to be offered a new contract.
Tevez's two-year loan deal runs out at the end of the season and despite United insisting they want to keep him at Old Trafford, a deal is still to be completed, says the Manchester Evening News.
