Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was pleased to give goalkeeper Sam Johnstone his debut in their 1-0 win over Shanghai Shenhua.
The young keeper came on at half-time for Anders Lindegaard as Ferguson remained true to his word in giving match-time to every member of the DHL tour squad.
"He didn't have anything to do," Ferguson told MUTV. "But he's going to be a good keeper. We all know that he's tremendously talented and he's only 19 and is growing all the time, even if he is a big lad already."
