Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes losing Jussi Jaaskelainen for the remainder of the season is a big blow to Bolton's survival hopes.
"I thought they had got themselves clear for a while and hit a bit of form - but, in this league, if you lose a couple of games, you can find yourselves back in the mix.
"Derby are in a terrible position and you expect them to go down. Fulham are the next one but there is a scramble to avoid the other place.
"You've got Wigan, Birmingham, Reading, Sunderland and Bolton all there - fighting to survive. When you are down there it is not easy.
"Of course, losing Jussi Jaaskelainen is definitely a big blow for Bolton because he is one of the best goalkeepers in the division. But they have outfield experience in Ivan Campo and Kevin Nolan."
